- 1 Small Red Onion, Finely Chopped
- ¼ cup Peas, Boiled
- ¼ cup Carrot, Grated
- 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ¼ tsp Danfe’s Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Danfe’s Bara Masala
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp Chaat Masala
- ⅓ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Cilantro, Roughly Chopped
- Salt to Taste
- 3 tbsp Oil, for Frying
For the rice flour mixture
- 3 tbsp Danfe’s Rice Flour
- Salt to Taste
- Water as Needed
Instructions
Step 1: Soak the poha in water for 3-5 minutes.
Step 2: After 3 minutes, rinse and drain the poha.
** Poha should be mashable.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the poha, vegetables, and spices mentioned under “Ingredients.” Mix well until combined.
Step 4: Form the mixture into lemon-sized balls. Then slightly flatten as you would roti dough. Repeat this step until the dough is finished.
Step 5: In a small bowl, make the rice flour mixture by combining the ingredients listed under “for the rice flour mixture.” The mixture should resemble a slightly thin paste.
Step 6: In a separate medium-sized bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Step 7: Take one flattened dough, dip it in the rice flour mixture. Make sure both sizes are evenly coated with the rice flour mixture.
Step 8: Then dip the dough in the breadcrumbs, making sure both sides are evenly coated.
Step 9: Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the breadcrumb-coated dough to the pan.
Step 10: Fry until both sides are golden brown. Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough.

Instructions
Step 1: Soak the poha in water for 3 minutes. Then rinse and drain well. Poha
should be slightly moist.
Step 2: Sprinkle some salt on poha and mix well. Set it aside.
Step 3: Heat a non-stick skillet with oil over medium heat. Add the mustard and cumin seeds.
Step 4: Once the mustard and cumin seeds start spluttering, add the onions, curry leaves, and asafoetida. Saute for a few minutes until onions are translucent.
Step 5: Bring the heat down to medium-low and add the turmeric powder and poha. Mix well.
Step 6: Turn the heat down to simmer. Cover the skillet and let the poha simmer for a few minutes. The poha should be soft and hot.

- 1 ½ cups Danfe’s Poha, Rinsed and Drained
- 2 Medium-Sized Potatoes, Boiled and Mashed

- ½ tsp Danfe’s Mustard Seeds
- ½ tsp Danfe’s Cumin Seeds

- ½ tsp Red Chili Powder

- 4 oz Cubed Cheese of your Choice

For the batter
- 3 tbsp Danfe’s Maida
- 1 tbsp Danfe’s Rice Flour
- Salt to Taste
- Water as Needed
For the coating
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

Step 1: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat. Add mustard and cumin seeds.
Step 2: Once the mustard and cumin seeds start spluttering, add the onions. Saute until onions are translucent.
Step 3: Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, and sugar. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
Step 4: Add the mashed potatoes and salt. Stir until everything is well combined.
Step 5: Add the drained poha, roasted crushed peanuts, lemon juice, and cilantro. Mix well and turn off the heat.
Step 6: Once the mixture gets to room temperature, mash everything together using a masher until you have a smooth mixture.
Step 7: While the mixture cools, make the flour batter in a mixing bowl by combining the ingredients listed under “for the batter.” Set it aside.
Step 8: In a separate bowl, pour the panko breadcrumbs and set them aside.
Step 9: Heat a medium frying pan with 2 cups of oil over medium heat.
Step 10: While the oil is getting ready, take a scoop of the mixture and roll it into a golf sized ball.
Step 11: Slightly flatten the ball and place a cheese cube in the center.
Step 12: Wrap the call around the cheese and form it into a round shape.
Step 13: Dip the ball in the flour batter and then immediately in the breadcrumbs.

Step 1: Soak the Poha in water for 5-7 minutes. Rinse and drain well. Set it aside
Step 2: Heat oil in a non-stick skillet, heat over medium heat. First, add the raw peanuts and roast them for a few minutes. Transfer it to a bowl and set it aside.
Step 3: To the same skillet, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and urad dal. Wait for them to splutter.
Step 4: Once the mustard seeds, urad dal, and cumin seeds start spluttering, add the ginger-garlic paste, curry leaves, and slit green chilies. Saute for a few minutes
